Buenos Aires - Places to Stay
If you are looking to stay a couple of weeks or a month in Buenos Aires, one of the best accommodations is to stay in an apartment. Check out the following web address for Apartments:
AirBnB is also recommended for looking places to stay anywhere in the world !
Transportation Airport to your apartment/hotel by BUS.
As soon as you walk out of customs, you will see a kiosk on your left. Go there and pay for your ticket to your apartment/hotel. Walk a short distance the bus station. The large modern buses will take you to Puerto Madero (where the large clock tower, Retiro train and bus station are located). Once you arrive at Manuel Tienda Leon, you will be transferred to a car, which will take you to your apartment. The cost is around $65 pesos from the airport to the Puerto Madero. The balance of the fair depends on how far your apartment is from Puerto Madero, but it should not be too much. Expect about $100.00 pesos for the entire trip, which you will pay for at the kiosk in the airport.
Dantes Proano owns a transportation service to and from the International Airport. His website also has a tab showing apartment accomodations for rent with 360 degree photos of the apartments. And Dantes will take you to and from the milongas.
If you are looking for hotel, I recommend The Art Hotel in the barrio, Recoleta. Address is Azuenaga 1268, BsAs, Argentina (54 11) 4821-4744 firstname.lastname@example.org ........ www.arthotel.com.ar There are no milongas in Recoleta, however a nice neighborhood, near museums and the famous Recoleta cemetary. It is also located two blocks away from a main arterial, Ave Santa Fe, which has the subway and easy taxi access.
